FALL EVERGREEN SHEDDING
It's mid-September / October
Why are my evergreens turning brown / yellow on the inside?
*See pictures below*
Don't worry, this is mother nature doing her job. It's 100% natural and happens every fall.
Trees lose their leaves in the fall, evergreens shed their inner, old growth in the fall. It happens every year.
Evergreens such as Arborvitae (Thuja), Pines, Cedars, Cypress, Hemlocks, Spruces etc ..... shed their old growth from the inside to make room for fresh, health new growth in the spring.
You will notice needles / foliage turn brown or yellow on the inside of the plant.
DON'T PANIC
While it can be unsightly it's nothing more than a natural process that will happen every fall.
